Dirty Retro DJ’s from London UK Are now regarded as one the most alternative & Diverse DJ & Production outfits, mixing old club classics, rare 80’s re edits & bootlegs mixed up with today’s best electro & house. Dirty Retro’s music & DJ sets appeal to a wider audience of music lovers & clubbers alike.

Experienced London based DJ & Producer Will Burns formed Dirty Retro in 2004 and has since toured the world continuously promoting his music & brand playing at profiled music events in South East Asia, Australia, America & most of Europe.

Events include playing for promoters such as Ministry of Sound, Type, Hed Kandi, Carwash, BBC Radio, Big Day out, Vodafone.

Will Burns has played on the same bill as DJ’s such as Armand Van Helden, Soul wax, Seb Fontaine, Judge Jules.

Past Residencies include playing at The Cross, Turnmills & Pacha in London, Bed & Mansion in Miami, guest appearances at Club Eden in Ibiza, Attica Singapore, The Q Bar in Bangkok, The Q Bar in Melbourne, Cargo in Sydney, Velour’s in Tokyo.

Dirty Retro was set up by West London Based DJ & Producer Will Burns. A musical quest to mix retro sounds & samples from the past with today’s dirty house beats. Together with classical Songwriter & Musician AJ Strong, (pianist for charlotte church) and Vocalist Ade Omotayo (Vocalist for Amy Winehouse).  Dirty Retro was formed in 2004 and have since been producing a diverse sound of dance music that appeals to both commercial & underground markets.

Will Burns has promoted his Dirty Retro brand by DJing worldwide playing at clubs throughout Asia Australia & America. “In clubs I play whatever I am feeling at that time, it will normally be a mix of classic music from the 60’s to the 80’s covering all different genres from funk, soul, raregroove to classic House”.  Dirty Retro is about enjoying different types of music from the retro past to the dirty present.

Dirty Retro have hosted nights for some of the biggest clubs & club brands. Its mission to become a global brand that offers diversity, fun, good music, style and entertainment.
